Hull Pride is an LGBTQIA+ non-profit 501(c)(3) community organization that celebrates and uplifts the LGBTQIA+ community in Hull, Massachusetts through inclusive events, advocacy, philanthropy, and connection. We create a welcoming environment where all identities are seen, valued, and empowered—building a stronger, more supportive, and more vibrant Hull for everyone.

Karen Kovach (she/her) Co-President
Karen has been actively involved in Hull Pride since moving to Hull in 2017. A writer and editor by trade, she’s a dancer and singer at heart.
Marc Cohn (he/him) Treasurer
Marc joined Hull Pride after moving to Hull with his partner and two very energetic dogs. Since joining the Board, Marc has worn some interesting hats including event decorations and Treasurer. When not volunteering or working, Marc enjoys travelling, cooking, sports, and carpentry.
Nancy Monroe (she/her)
Settled in Hull in 2009, with her lovely wife who grew up in this wonderful community. Nancy is proud to be one of the founding members or Hull Pride and a former Co-President. She loves gardening, playing with dog Finny, carpentry and playing golf.
Chad Wolfe (he/him)
Chad is another founding member of the Hull Pride group. Having grown up in Hull (and a proud graduate of Hull High School), Chad returned to live in Hull with his husband Jason in 2011. Chad is Commodore of the Hull Yacht Club and a board member for the Hull Lifesaving Museum.
Nicky Preble (she/her)
Nicky live in Hull with husband Rev. Peter, daughter Oonagh, and rescue cat Beauregard. Nicky works for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts. Nicky likes crafting and gardening with native plants, resides in the oldest house in Hull Village, and she is Lifetime Girl Scout Member.
Amelia Coyle (she/her)
Amelia grew up in Hull and returned in 2018 with her family when her kids were little. Now the mom of two teens, she wants to ensure Hull remains an affirming and welcoming place for all families. When not working as a nurse, Amelia enjoys going to the beach, running, and travelling.
Jason McCann (he/him) Co-President
Jason is a founding member of Hull Pride. Jason lives in Hull Village with his husband Chad, also a board member, and has lived in Hull since 2011. For work, Jason is a career adviser.
Matthew Elliott (he/him)
Clerk
Matthew moved to Hull with his husband and two cats in January 2023. Originally from Kansas, this friend of Dorothy spent a decade living in NYC pursuing a career in Musical Theatre.
Katherine Cox (she/her) Marketing
Katherine moved to the Alphabets with her husband and rescue pup in 2023. She got involved in Pride through attending events and meeting some great people. When she is not traveling for work, you can find her taking a class at Proving Ground or spending time at the beach.
Jill Page (she/her)
Jill has lived in Hull since 2003 with her wife Pat and their little Yorkshire Terrier named Houston. Jill and Pat moved to the area to enjoy the friendly close community and beautiful water vistas. When not waking her dog Houston, Jill loves to enjoy music and play the guitar..
Ken Heckman (he/him)
Ken and his husband Dave, a Hull native, have lived on Sagamore Hill with their three dogs since 2015. Recently retired, he is now looking for ways to draw in and help LGBTQIA+ seniors feel more included in our wonderful community.
Suzy Cosgrove (she/her)
Suzy and her adorable ginger cat found a wonderful community in Hull, in addition to the waves. When she's not producing (her full time gig), you can find her painting at South Shore Arts Center, on stage in a local play, or somewhere in the surf at Nantasket.
